How to Get to Red Rocks for deadmau5: Transportation & Parking

Fifteen miles southwest of downtown, 30 to 45 minutes via C-470 or I-70, plus 15 to 30 more on a show night. It all funnels onto Alameda Parkway eventually.

Red rocks parking is free. And that is where the good news stops. Upper North Lot, Lower South Lot and Top Circle Lot open two hours before doors, so 5:00 PM here. And the near ones fill first. Gravel surfaces, uphill walk.

Rideshare is fine inbound. Coming out, pickup is the Jurassic Lot only, so you hike downhill while the surge climbs. RTD is not a plan: the W Line stops at Federal Center Station, seven miles short, no evening service into Morrison. A shared bus fixes your pickup point and departure time for you.
