Where We Drive from Eagle Airport
That’s the heart of our eagle airport car service: six mountain routes we run every single day, in sun, wind, or a foot of fresh snow.
Vail
Vail sits about 35 miles east on I-70, roughly a 45-minute ride once your bags hit the belt. Rates start at $299 for a private SUV. If Vail is your main event, our Eagle Airport to Vail car service page covers pickup points and current rates in more detail.
Beaver Creek
Beaver Creek is the shortest hop on this list, 28 miles and about 40 minutes from EGE. A private SUV starts at $299, with plenty of room for skis and boards. For village drop-offs and shuttle timing, visit our EGE to Beaver Creek transfers page.
Breckenridge
The distance is about 72 miles. The drive takes roughly one hour and 30 minutes. It goes east through Summit County. A luxury SUV starts at 550 dollars. A van starts at 800 dollars. See our Eagle Airport to Breckenridge shuttle page for group rates and pickup windows.
Aspen and Snowmass
The drive goes west on Interstate 70. It also uses Highway 82. The trip is 69 to 72 miles from the terminal. The ride takes one hour and 40 minutes. Rates start at 575 dollars for a luxury SUV. Our Aspen and Snowmass transfers page covers both towns side by side.
Avon and Bachelor Gulch
Edwards is also nearby. They sit along the Eagle River corridor. The drive takes about 40 minutes. A private SUV costs less than 300 dollars. Our destinations page has exact pricing by neighborhood.
Steamboat Springs and Keystone
Both take about 90 minutes. They sit in opposite directions from the airport. Prices change by season. Pickup windows change too. Fares cost 550 to 575 dollars. The price depends on distance. Group size changes the price as well. Our destinations page has current availability for both.
How to Get from Eagle Airport to Your Resort
Eagle airport ground transportation has five real choices. You can pick a private car. A shared shuttle is another option. You can also use rideshare or a rental car. A taxi is the final choice. Each option balances price and convenience differently.
| Method | Price | Time | Availability at EGE |
| Private car service | From $299 per vehicle | 40–45 min | 24/7, book ahead |
| Shared shuttle | From $49 per person | 60–90 min | Limited schedule |
| Uber / Lyft | Rates vary | About 45 min | Few drivers, especially at night and in winter |
| Rental car | $80–150/day plus parking | About 45 min | AWD recommended in winter |
| Taxi | N/A | N/A | No taxi stand at EGE |
When a Shared Shuttle Makes Sense
Solo travelers can save money. A shared shuttle costs less than a private car. This is very helpful when you watch your budget. It works best outside peak season. Schedules run tighter during those times. It’s a fair trade if your own schedule has some slack.
When Renting a Car Makes Sense
A rental makes sense if you plan to explore several towns on your own schedule, not just make the airport run. Budget for all-wheel drive and winter tires between December and March, since mountain roads don’t forgive summer tires.
Our Vehicles for EGE Transfers
Every eagle airport transportation vehicle in our fleet is built for Colorado winters.
Luxury SUV, up to 5 Passengers (From $299)
Room for five plus a full set of ski bags. All-wheel drive and winter tires come standard once the snow starts, so traction isn’t something you need to think about.
Executive Van, up to 9 Passengers (From $375)
Built for small groups and families, with cargo space for boards, boots, and the bag someone always forgets. Winter tires are standard here too.
Executive Van, up to 14 Passengers (From $425)
Our largest option, built for bigger groups, corporate trips, and wedding parties. Same winter-ready setup, just more seats and room for gear. Check out our fleet for photos and full specs.
Vail Valley Jet Center – Private Jet Transfers
Vail Valley Jet Center, or VVJC for short, is the private aviation side of EGE, and it runs on its own set of rules. This block is unique to us in this market.
The Private Jet Booking Process
We’ll need your tail number before you land, since that’s what gets our vehicle through the gate and out to the tarmac. VVJC enforces this closely for everyone’s safety.
Pickup and Dropoff at VVJC
Once we have your tail number, your chauffeur parks next to the plane and loads your bags planeside, a shorter walk than any commercial terminal.
FBO Gate Access and Fees
A $50 gate fee applies to every VVJC pickup or drop-off, on top of your fare, and we always include it upfront in your quote.
Diverted Flights from EGE
Winter storms divert some flights to Denver. We track your flight status. We will try to pick you up. Short notice rides are not guaranteed. You get a full refund otherwise. Book your eagle airport car service early.
Transfers from Denver take longer. Plan for extra time. Expect a higher fare. Our Denver Airport car service page has details. Our Denver to Vail private shuttle page covers this too.

Our first experience with Mr. Chauffeur was outstanding. From pickup to drop-off, communication was clear, and the trip went smoothly. The driver demonstrated exceptional skill in navigating traffic and knew the best route for a quick stop at the box office before dropping us off at the concert. Our driver was dedicated to coordinating a meeting spot after the concert and ensuring passenger comfort and punctuality. We highly recommend Mr. Chauffeur for private transportation and plan to use their services again.
